Is It a Mission Trip?
No, not at all. We are happy to schedule a mission activity for you if that is what you want. But we want you to enjoy the best that Costa Rica has to offer, with 3, 4 or even 5-star accommodations, deluxe excursions, and fine dining. There really is no limit. Your vacation here will benefit The Brook, and the local economy.
Why Vacation in Costa Rica?
Many compare Costa Rica to Hawaii, but at a much reduced price. As a peace-loving country, Costa Rica is very safe. They have no military, and have one of the lowest crime rates in the Americas. Internet and cell phone service can be found most anywhere, and English is widely spoken, though the national language is Spanish. It is unlikely you will meet friendlier people in this hemisphere. The Costa Ricans, or Ticos, love U.S. Americans, and it shows.
But by far the number one reason to come to Costa Rica is nature. Active volcanoes, stunning beaches, rainforests, waterfalls, and some of the greatest biodiversity found on the planet. But it is not all outdoors. Costa Rica even has modern shopping malls and museums. And it is just a 3-hour flight from Miami, or 4 hours from Dallas/Ft. Worth.
